The Arco runner is named after the 1970's "future-city" called Arcosanti in Arizona. Architect Paolo Soleri used circles and other organic shapes to tell a story about how humans could coexist with nature in a modern, low-impact way. Our 100% cotton Kilim bath rug is inspired by these same graphic shapes and the sun-baked palette of the Arizona desert. The flat weave style is light-weight and dries quickly.
Each rug is hand-woven in India at a GOTS-certified, REACH factory. Our Manufacturer is investing in Biogas energy and clean-water practices. They give back to their community by providing interest free loans to employees as well as funding a nearby hospital and school.
